This year we have the privilege and opportunity to move forward, to advance, to expand and enlarge as we respond to the invitation given to the people of God, as personified by the barren woman described in Isaiah.

It’s an invitation to go beyond where we have been & to take hold of the future that God has waiting for us.

  • Bringing the gospel to geographical areas with little or no active church community by extending our reach through our two church plants in Kingswells and in Torry; establishing vibrant healthy church expressions there while exploring a third location for 2025.

  • Bringing support and encouragement into the school environment for students and teachers by extending our school work through presence in several primary and secondary schools.

  • Bringing unconditional love and compassion to our city through our Love Aberdeen and programmes.

  • Developing a team to build life-giving connections in the marketplace, the business and academic communities, and the civic space.
  • Praying for the health and wellbeing of our neighbours by expanding our prayer boundaries through the development of a Prayer Walk App, mapping all the city's streets allowing every household to be prayed for; along with the development of “24/7” expressions of prayer in 2024.

  • Addressing accessibility challenges for people through the purchase and provision of a minibus.

  • To respond to the great commission for the church to go into all the world and communicate the good news by finding ways to reach every household in our city and surrounding areas with the good news of Jesus Christ
  • Enhancing the space around the main facility in Bridge of Don, including improved signage to guide people more efficiently and the development of a kids’ play area to enhance the family experience.

  • Creation of an outdoor hospitality space for the community of Aberdeen as well as the church congregation.
