The King's Community Foundation
The Sister-charity of King's Church Aberdeen
We are dedicated to serving the people of Aberdeen and tackling the various challenges, struggles and social justice issues they face. One of the ways we do this is through our sister charity King’s Community Foundation and for the last 15 years since we launched, we have seen significant transformation and improvement in the lives of the local people we’ve supported.
The Bridge Centre
In 2016, the Foundation was given an opportunity by the Council to work alongside them and refurbish an unused Community Centre in Torry which had lain derelict for over 10 years. Since taking ownership of the building, we provide crucial services such as homeless and addiction support and women and family support through our partnership with Bethany Christian Trust.
We have established a thriving Community Café and set up free cooking classes and free training courses for young people.

Aberdeen North Foodbank
We don’t believe anyone in our community should have to go hungry and through our Foodbank, we help thousands of local people in crisis by providing emergency food parcels. We feed on average 120 people every single week at our Centre’s throughout the City. Last year, we provided over 52,000 meals to those in need.
